Mark your Calenders for... Destination Friendship 2001 August 4, 2001

Yes, Friendship, Wisconsin will be the location of the first state outing in Wisconsin! Darrel Brotten and I thought long and hard for a place centrally located where all GWTA members could meet. We found it in Friendship...and what a better place to practice "Destination Friendship"! I had the opportunity to meet with the Chamber of Commerce there late last year. While I didn't receive the key to the village, I did receive a very warm welcome! I also got a brief tour of the area including the firehouse! Being a retired firefighter from a small department in Indiana, this brought back memories as we sat in the firehouse talking over a cup of coffee. Plans are currently underway to make this event a success and something to remember. Additional information will be available over the next few months and as always, your comments and ideas are always welcome! Several members have already called requesting motel/camping information! They want to spend additional time in the area seeing the sights. Click here to print this form , filling it out and mail it to Ted as soon as possible!! Area information including camping and lodging will be mailed directly to you!

Bike Ticket Update!
So far, Region "C" leads in ticket sales! To date, these sales are at 1600 tickets !
Wisconsin is part of Region "C" and has contributed greatly to these numbers!
Wisconsin has already surpassed our ticket sales for 2000 and on track for a new state record !
Keep up the great work and "Happy $elling"!
